This is a gorgeous plant, not just for its flowers, but also for its dark green bold foliage.
 
It likes a warm spot, humid if possible.  If the air is warm, but dry, then just spray the foliage with some water. Do not over water your plant, its prefers to be drier than wet.
 
It can grow to four feet high if in the wild, but if in a pot in your home, the pot size will determine how tall the plant grows.
